Sign of a Strong Real Estate Market: Charles Rutenberg Realty Adds More than 200 New Agents in 2015

Recent National Association of REALTORS® Study finds that the number of agents switching brokerages is at a 28-year high
There has been a surge of Real Estate Agents switching brokerages, according to a survey by the National Association of REALTORS®. National numbers seem to be consistent on Long Island, where many are heading to Charles Rutenberg Realty. The Agency offers unique benefits, such as the richest commission plan in the industry, low monthly fees, flexible training opportunities and expert guidance. After almost ten years on Long Island, Charles Rutenberg Realty continues to draw record numbers of new Agents — including more than 200 in the past year.
Of the 6,750 Agents surveyed nationwide, 30 percent reported they had been with their current firm for one year or less, a 12 percent increase from 2014. Agent turnover hasn't climbed this high since 1987, when numbers were around 32 percent. The study found that an increase in dissatisfaction with the management tactics of brokerages is the biggest reason that Agents make the switch. Other causes for unhappy Agents are often due to lack of a strategic business plan, low standards for technology and new hires, underappreciation of Agent success, increased fees without increased benefits and unresolved office disputes.
The National Association of REALTORS® has named Charles Rutenberg Realty, Inc. among the top five firms in New York State.
